Arriving as part of the brand’s latest collaboration with Paris-based designer Rick Owens, these new-season Veja runners are designed to provide a comfortable and well-cushioned wear regardless of setting. Styled with eco-minded uppers crafted from the brand’s exclusive V-Knit fabric made from 100% recycled polyester obtained from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, these low-collared sneakers feature a cushioned L-Foam latex cushioned interior, TPU panels and a contoured off-white outsole made from upcycled Amazonian rubber. The tonal midsole is made from 46% sugar cane, 8% banana-oil and an array of other synthetic materials to help honour the design’s mindful manufacturing ethos, whilst the perforated toe-box, rib-knit trims and staggered 9-eyelet lacing system work together to ensure a sock-like fit that’s both well-ventilated and designed to tackle any given terrain. Mirrored ‘Veja’ and double-stripe pull loops in a shade of sea-green accentuate the heels for added function, whilst the Pebax RNew tonal V-logo decals across the oyster-white side-walls help seal the design with respect to tradition.
